Learning “Outside the Box” with TWC

05.12.22
posted by a Walking Classroom Adopter

Classroom instruction has been unpredictable over the last two years due to the unforeseeable pandemic occurrences. Therefore, thinking about learning outside the box is necessary . . . and easy, thanks to The Walking Classroom.

With The Walking Classroom, students are able to enjoy a method of learning other than in a constricted classroom. When walking outside, multiple benefits are gained for both students and teachers. Both are able to work toward daily fitness goals for overall well being. Students are able to use modern devices and learning strategies to get a better understanding of content material.

After walking, teachers are able to interact with students on the content material. They can evaluate their students’ understanding as well. Students are able to express their interest in topics. From my experience, students are engaged and eager to learn more after walking, listening, and learning with The Walking Classroom’s podcasts.

The Walking Classroom’s podcast lessons are designed for learners on all levels to easily comprehend. We will continue to modify and adapt our instruction. The Walking Classroom will play a critical role, as we continue to use program to increase students’ knowledge and alter the means of learning on content material across multiple courses.
