Science and Social Studies? Covered!

05.19.22
posted by a Walking Classroom Adopter

Thank you so much for The Walking Classroom! While we have enjoyed the science and social studies podcasts so far, I am sure the class set of WalkKits will be enjoyed by my students for years to come.

We have enjoyed comparing and contrasting the podcast episodes with our content learning. Christopher Columbus (5-#79, Complete-#54) was a hit!

Our next writing unit is opinion writing. We are looking forward to walking and learning about the dangers of junk food and how important it is to limit time on video games, and using the health messages on the podcasts to support our discussion.

Everyone in our building wants to enjoy The Walking Classroom with us. The younger students are looking forward to being in the fifth grade, so that they can use them too. The opportunity to add fitness to our content learning is so greatly appreciated.
