I am the media coordinator and work with each student and staff member in our building. Therefore, I was excited to launch TWC
My students are first- and second-generation immigrants. I had almost all of them when the pandemic hit. So now I get to do a “redo”!
TWC is one my favorite tools because of the variety of podcasts. I can incorporate it based on different age/curriculum appropriate lessons.
It was refreshing for these students to get out of the same four walls and review ELA topics during their Friday Walk time.
I attended the 2022 OSTI-CON and decided to sit in on TWC’s presentation. I was intrigued at the curriculum and the usefulness it could have.
We are having SO much fun with TWC! I’m sharing my WalkKits with another teacher, and we have it worked out like a fine-tuned machine!
We first learned about TWC at the ESEA Conference last year, where our school was recognized for two years of academic achievement.
I absolutely love this program! My students get very excited when I tell them it’s time to listen to a Walking Classroom podcast.
