There’s Power in Movement!

12.26.18
posted by a Walking Classroom Adopter

There’s power in movement and we know that kids simply need to move. The Walking Classroom provides the opportunity for students to move while connecting directly to and engaging in the content areas. Our students have been overjoyed and excited about learning since the implementation of this program.

The Walking Classroom breaks down the physical walls of the classroom. It allows students to experience the curriculum and engage in the physical activity that encourages a deeper, more personal connection, while providing all the benefit of physical activity on cognition. Most importantly, the students simply love it! And . . . we also know that enthusiasm breeds success!

We are currently using the program with our entire sixth grade student population. As they progress through the program and we see the benefits, we are hopeful to roll out the program to other grade levels.
