Podcasts Reference What I am Teaching

02.22.23
posted by a Walking Classroom Adopter

Thank you for the opportunity to do The Walking Classroom with my third grade class. I have found that so many podcasts reference what I am teaching.

Recently, we started learning about figurative language. My students have loved Idioms (4-#7, 5-#3, Complete-#3) and Similes and Metaphors (4-#11, 5-#72, Complete-#4). I have also been able to reteach ideas using podcasts such as First Person vs Third Person (4-#44, Complete-#19), Physical and Political Maps (4-#29, STEM-#25, Complete-#140), and so many health concepts too.

Personally, I love to walk and enjoy being able to walk with my students. We live in Lake Geneva so we often enjoy a walking route near the lake. We are having lots of fun learning, walking, and talking!
