“My Classroom was Transformed!”

08.22.18
posted by a Walking Classroom Adopter

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the opportunity you provided to my fourth graders and myself to have and use your program this year. The devices arrived the day after Spring Break. From the first moment we used The Walking Classroom, my classroom was transformed!

My students would beg to go on walks and were genuinely excited about what they were learning. One day when I was walking into school, I asked one of my students if she was ready for the day. She enthusiastically said, “Yes! We’re doing The Walking Classroom today!” We quickly became the envy of the middle school students. They would see us walking and ask their teachers if they could do the same.

I look forward to the coming year when I will have even more time to walk, listen, and learn with my students. I envision many happy trails to come!

We have to agree! Getting outside to listen to these podcasts while extending our learning from the traditional setting has really sparked our students’ interests in science.
