Podcasts Hit the Mark on Standards

01.04.22
posted by a Walking Classroom Adopter

I teach fourth grade science and social studies, and have had The Walking Classroom since August of 2019. While the past couple of school years presented a challenge to teachers and students across the globe, I loved using The Walking Classroom when I could. So many of the podcasts completely hit the mark on my standards!

For the 2021-2022 school year, I am teaching both fourth grade and fifth grade social studies. I am eager to have The Walking Classroom become an integral part of my students’ learning again this year.

Not only that, but we are in a new building that has an incredible nature trail and a nearby public library with a beautiful garden. We will have terrific places to walk while learning about the American Revolution, Civil War, and the notable people involved with these conflicts.

I thank The Walking Classroom for support during the pandemic year and keeping these materials available. I am sure that the Walking Classroom will be one of the most popular learning experiences my students will have during the upcoming school year.
