What a thrill to embed The Walking Classroom into our fifth grade curriculum at Ward Elementary School this year! The content of the podcasts is spot on and aligns wonderfully with the North Carolina standards and teaching objectives.
The quality of the podcasts and ancillary resources make The Walking Classroom user-friendly for teachers. I am so impressed with the introductory slideshows, the videos, and especially the Google Forms for assessment! And, once my students completed the orientation, they had no problem using their devices with ease.
The Walking Classroom affords our students additional exercise. They enjoy getting extra outdoor time with each lesson. This helps them get the wiggles out for when we return to class and really makes a difference in our day!
I never want to be without The Walking Classroom. The list of so many lessons makes it extremely easy to align with our units of study. It has become an enhancement to my teaching toolkit!
