TWC solves multiple problems!

01.27.16
posted by a Walking Classroom Adopter

My 5th graders are required to run/walk a mile each year. It has always been a struggle to get in the time to practice. Students complain that it’s boring or I have to cut PE time to cover other subject matters.

The Walking Classroom has solved both of those problems!

My students love going for their walks and listening to their Walkits! They say it makes the time fly by.

I love it because I know that we are multitasking and covering more than one subject. It’s the best of both worlds.

That’s great! Isn’t it true for even us adults too though? Working out or doing simple tasks are much more fun when listening to music or audio books. Why wouldn’t it be the same for students? Doing the walking classroom while training for the mile run and walk sounds like a wonderful opportunity for students to be active and learn!
