TWC Makes Impact in Students’ Lives

09.15.22
posted by a Walking Classroom Adopter

Our school is a Title I public school in Lake Worth, Florida. Our students rarely get opportunities to experience hands-on learning like what The Walking Classroom provides. You have made such an impact in our students’ lives!

Our students love using The Walking Classroom! As a teacher during these times, it is hard to find classroom materials that are not only fun and interesting, but include physical activity. Many resources are technology-based, but must be done from a computer screen. We absolutely love that our students get to learn about a wide range of topics, while having the ability to take a walk outside in the fresh air and move outside of the typical classroom setting. The students always look forward to our walks!

The content taught on the podcasts is magnificent. It is high quality material that exposes students to real-world topics. The students really benefit from the lessons and are so intrigued by what they are learning.

We love being able to connect what they listen to on the podcasts to the content that we are learning in class! It really just makes learning so much more fun and interesting. They enjoy having classroom discussions with one another afterwards, and we have seen how much growth they have had after using The Walking Classroom this year!

We cannot thank you enough for what you have done for our group of students. You have made learning such a fun experience for them and we sincerely thank you!
