West Park Place Elementary School has been utilizing The Walking Classroom since the beginning of the school year with some of our third, fourth, and fifth grade students. They absolutely love it!
Every day when they enter my classroom, they ask if we are listening to a podcast and heading out for a walk. There is a great selection of podcasts available, and we are able to tie in some of our curriculum with the amazing podcast lessons!
I cannot express how useful and helpful these lessons have been in our learning this school year. I actually presented The Walking Classroom to another group of teachers within our district and encouraged them to look into purchasing for next year.
The discussions we have had centered around the podcast lessons are something my students continue to explore to this day. What an innovative and invaluable way to get students excited about learning! Thank you so much!
