The joy of sharing

I just wanted to share with you a great learning experience we had with The Walking Classroom. We listened to podcast “O Captain! My Captain!” yesterday. The day before that we began talking about poetry and our principal wants each class to choose a poem to read over the intercom each morning. After listening to the podcast and fully understanding the meaning behind “O Captain! My Captain!” my class wants to share this with the entire school. They also want to explain it to them so they can understand the “true meaning” behind the poem. And this request was from some students who rarely are interested in reading at all!!!

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to have The Walking Classroom in our classroom.
