While last week’s post highlighted some quotable quotes from teacher thank you notes, this week the students share! Need a smile? Here are some samples of memorable comments from the hundreds of student thank you notes we received this past school year!

What the Students Have to Say . . .

“I learned that exercise and learning go together like pizza and cheese.” — Adin, Pennsylvania

“Every time the teachers says, “Get out your WalkKits,” I say “YES!” The reason why I say yes is because I am so excited to learn and get some calories burned.” — Maliyah, Arizona

A Breath of Fresh Air

“The Walking Classroom is a breath of fresh air during my day and it helps me learn so much better than being crammed up in a classroom!” — Elizabeth, Tennessee

“These podcasts allow us to walk outside, get fresh air, and get our hearts beating to power us through the day!” — Cullen, Georgia

A Burst of Energy

“Each time our class finishes a walk, I feel so energetic, not really tired or sleepy, and I feel like my brain can store more, so I’m able to learn more!.” — Herley, New York

“One thing I learned is that exercise gives you more brain power and helps you to learn. So while I’m listening, I’m also getting a lot more strength, energy and brain power!” — Ella, Kentucky

The Chance to Move

“The Walking Classroom helps us learn and think in a different way. It also helps us push those hard chairs in and go WALKING!” — Sabrina, Oregon

“The Walking Classroom is good for me because I have ADHD and when I sit in the classroom and listen, I begin to twitch like crazy, but with The Walking Classroom, I get to move around and I get to learn better.” — Lyla, Missouri

Lots of Learning

“The Walking Classroom makes learning so much more fun and has helped me succeed.” — Malakaii, California

“I remember everything I’ve heard from the podcasts because I’ve enjoyed them. They teach me valuable things and get me on my feet!” — Eva, Kentucky

“The Walking Classroom teaches us about new things. It makes me excited to learn.” — Senayda, Florida

. . . and Students Share Some Final Thoughts!

“Fun fact: When you exercise, it gets your heart pumping, and that makes your brain happy, and increases your intellectual ability when you do it regularly.” — Wiley, Georgia

“This program blows my mind away like a volcano. That’s a simile!” — Antonella, New York

“Thank you for all the joy and pleasure you have given us. You have made us so very happy!” — Aaron, North Carolina

Happy Trails!
