His work on geographic cycle was not only groundbreaking (geological pun intended!); it was influential in the field for the better part of the early twentieth century!

Some great ideas for implementing them for science! We are tested in science (4th grade), but I have NOT had the time to teach science. So, instead, we complete our walks and have listened to the podcasts. Afterwards, we take our quizzes and any information they found interesting, they can research on their Chromebooks! Walking classroom has been a life-saver this year!
