In this podcast, the Walking Classroom kids talk about and share the classic poem, “The Echoing Green”, written by William Blake in 1789. In this podcast, you will learn about imagery-descriptive language that allows the reader to really imagine sights, sounds or smells. The poem is a great example of sound imagery that celebrates children playing and the passage of time. It’s important to slow down while reading poetry to really appreciate the words and the images they convey.
