Today’s Walking Classroom podcast focuses on Susan B. Anthony, who is best known for starting the Women’s Suffrage Movement that worked for women’s right to vote. In 1872, she voted in the presidential election and was found guilty of committing a crime. The publicity from her trial and her frequent speeches on the matter helped her movement gain awareness and support.
