
Today’s Walking Classroom podcast talks about Crispus Attucks, an escaped slave who became a sailor and later died during the Boston Massacre. The Boston Massacre was a particularly famous street fight between British soldiers and American colonists during which five colonists were killed. Today, he is commemorated as the first man to die in America’s fight for freedom.
