Today’s Walking Classroom podcast talks about Civil War generals Ulysses S. Grant, Robert E. Lee, and Stonewall Jackson. All three greatly respected each other, but Grant fought on the Union (or Northern) side of the Civil War, and Lee and Jackson served the Confederate Army (the South). After the war, Grant eventually became president of the United States and Lee became president of Washington and Lee University.
