
In today’s Walking Classroom, learn about America’s first African-American president, President Barack Obama. Obama struggled with his sense of identity growing up multi-racial in America. He had little contact with his father and often felt out of place. President Obama overcame obstacles in his life by doing well in school and showing a strong work ethic.
