On the Road: Meet Up with Us in March

It may be midwinter, but we’re not hibernating here at The Walking Classroom! In fact, we’re busy preparing for a number of upcoming education conferences and out-of-school time events on the horizon for us in March.

From School Conferences . . .

National Youth Advocacy and Resilience (NYAR) Conference
March 5 – 8

In early March, The Walking Classroom will exhibit and present at the National Youth Advocacy and Resilience Conference, held in Savannah, Georgia. The NYAR Conference supports those interested in the well-being of youth. Attendees include teachers, school administrators, school counselors, and more. In addition to three keynotes, the conference also features over 40 presenters over nine breakout sessions.

If you’re there, stop by The Walking Classroom’s booth to say hello. And, be sure to attend our presentation for your chance to walk, listen, and learn!

Georgia Association for Gifted Children Convention
March 6 – 7

The Walking Classroom will also be in Athens, Georgia, exhibiting and presenting at the Georgia Association of Gifted Children (GAGC) Convention. The more than 500 conference attendees include gifted teachers, educational leaders, decision makers, and parents of gifted youth from across the state of Georgia.

This year’s event includes two keynote speakers, dedicated exhibit time, and plenty of networking opportunities with an array of breakout session. The theme is Creating Gifted Connections: Past, Present, Future.

Take a moment and stop by our booth or attend our presentation to experience The Walking Classroom for yourself!

North Carolina Technology in Education Society (NCTIES) 2023 Conference
March 8 – 10

Then, you can see The Walking Classroom in Raleigh, North Carolina, exhibiting and presenting at the NCTIES 2023 Conference.

Not only tech facilitators and coaches number among this event’s 3,500 attendees. There are also teachers, administrators, and media specialists. All will have plenty to do, since the event includes meet and greets, keynotes, featured speakers, and demonstrations.

In fact, to experience The Walking Classroom in action, just look for our presentation! If you attend, you can walk, listen, and learn with The Walking Classroom too!

. . . to Out-of-School Time Events . . .

National AfterSchool Association (NAA) Annual Convention
March 19 – 22

After that, we will be in Orlando, Florida, for the NAA Annual Convention. There, The Walking Classroom will exhibit.

This convention is attended by over 2,500 afterschool professionals and leaders. It provides plenty of opportunities to learn, network, and be inspired, since there are special events, workshops and intensive sessions, and several keynotes too.

Illinois Afterschool Network (IAN) 37th Annual Spring Virtual Conference
March 29 – 31

At the end of the month, The Walking Classroom will be exhibiting virtually, at the IAN 37th Annual Spring Virtual Conference.

This convention is for Illinois after-school and youth development professionals. It includes two keynotes and 21 breakout sessions, as well as awards and dedicated exhibit time.

. . . to School Health Events!

Missouri Association of School Nurses (MASN) Annual Spring Conference
March 25 – 26

You can also see the Walking Classroom exhibiting in Columbia, Missouri, at the MASN Annual Spring Conference.

The theme for this year’s event is School Nurses: Planting a Lifetime of Healthy Habits. It includes four keynote presentations and plenty of opportunities for professional development among its numerous breakout sessions.
