posted by Natalie Dekle

With spring fully sprung, things are getting busy here at The Walking Classroom! We’re preparing for a number of upcoming education and out-of-school time conferences. Here’s where you can meet us in April and May!

On the Road for Out-of-School Time Conferences!

Florida Afterschool & Summer Symposium
April 13 – 15

In mid-April, The Walking Classroom will be in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, for the Florida Afterschool & Summer Symposium. An event of the Florida Afterschool Alliance (FASA), this gathering brings together hundreds of afterschool and youth professionals. With a theme of “Building Brighter Futures”, the symposium even includes a Saturday youth summit.

Be sure to stop by The Walking Classroom’s booth and attend our presentation on Friday, April 14, at 10:15 a.m. to experience the program for yourself!

Best Out-of-School Time (BOOST) Conference
April 25 – 28

Later in April, The Walking Classroom heads to Palm Springs, California to exhibit at the BOOST Conference! The largest global convening for afterschool, expanded learning, and out-of-school time professionals, the event has a projected attendance of over 2,500.

The conference provides opportunities for networking and team building. It includes special events, more than 150 workshops, and hands-on learning too!

Come by the booth and say hello. To walk, listen, and learn, stop by Station D on Thursday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m.!

. . . and Education Conferences too!

ARISE 23
May 23

In May, The Walking Classroom will exhibit at ARISE 23, the 2023 Arkansas Charter Schools Conference, in Little Rock, Arkansas. This annual gathering is attended by over 300 K-12 charter school leaders, and provides a great opportunity for professional development.

Visit our booth to learn how to get on your way to Happy Trails!

And . . . More Opportunities on the Way!

Not attending any of these events? Have no fear, you can experience The Walking Classroom at plenty of others as the year continues. To find out where you can learn more about our program, just keep an eye on our blog. Maybe we’ll meet you in our travels!
