Librarian Pulls in STEM Podcasts!

09.12.18
posted by a Walking Classroom Adopter

I am a school librarian at my school, so I teach all the students in our school. I have been able to incorporate The Walking Classroom’s STEM podcasts into lessons for second, third, and fourth grade classes! Our students love getting outside and walking. They often will stop me in the hall and ask, “Are we going to walk today?”

Our fourth graders were able to learn about volcanoes from a podcast as an introduction to their science unit, Earth’s Changing Landscape. Last year, we also listened to some of the podcasts about famous African American scientists as part of our African American history studies.

Thank you for helping our students get healthier while learning!
