Here at the Metrowest YMCA, we started using The Walking Classroom’s Complete Program WalkKits in October of 2022. We incorporated The Walking Classroom into two of our afterschool programs, in both Framingham and Hopkinton.
I run one of the Hopkinton sites, where we have been using The Walking Classroom every Wednesday as part of our curriculum time. We have been letting the students pick the topics for the month and throughout, they have been enjoying the podcasts on the topics.
The medieval podcasts we did in November were a big hit. The kids loved creating their own coat of arms. We are excited to keep using The Walking Classroom throughout 2023!
