TWC Podcasts Support American Revolution Unit

11.25.20
posted by a Walking Classroom Adopter

My students have fully embraced The Walking Classroom and look forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays! We completed a unit on the American Revolution, and there was a wealth of podcasts on the WalkKits for them to enjoy.

We listened to Boston Tea Party (Complete-#62, 4-#53), Intolerable Acts (Complete-#63, 4-#52), George Washington (Complete-#71, 4-#86), Benjamin Franklin (Complete-#69, 4-#47), and Paul Revere (Complete-#65, 4-#50). Then, we followed up with reading material. The students were more excited about reading about the historical events and people after hearing podcasts on the topics through The Walking Classroom. Thanks so much for this great resource!
