Small Groups Find TWC a Perfect Resource!

12.05.18
posted by a Walking Classroom Adopter

We are in our first year of The Walking Classroom and we love it! Ours is a unique situation in the fact that we do not have a full class of our own, rather, we are reading teachers who work with small groups of students.

We are currently using the program with both our third and fourth grade students. Often times, our students are reluctant readers who struggle with motivation and engagement. The Walking Classroom has been a perfect resource for these students. It helps keep them focused, engaged in their learning and refreshed for the rest of the day in their classrooms.

Every time they go back to their classrooms, their peers are begging to come with us! The Walking Classroom’s podcast topics are relevant to our students’ classroom instruction and state standards. The students can’t get enough of it!
