Our class loved the lesson on Precipitation and the Water Cycle (Program 4-#30, STEM Program-#12). The weather in West Virginia has been perfect for this podcast!
It rained for several days, causing flooding, and then the rain turned into snow. The students were able to apply the lesson more easily. Thanks to the podcast, they came to understand the four main stages. On top of that, because of the changing weather, they also saw each of the four stages firsthand over just a few days!
It’s great how The Walking Classroom’s podcasts connect to the curriculum . . . and to real life!
