On the Road: October Conferences Around the Corner!

Attending any conferences these next few months? In October, several professional development opportunities are popping up, so take some time and learn something new. While you’re at it, stop by The Walking Classroom’s booth and say hello!

Events for Educators Working in Schools . . .

Ignite 22
October 5 – 6

You can learn about The Walking Classroom at Ignite 22, the fall conference of the Arkansas Public School Resource Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This annual fall conference brings together educators from all roles and levels in K-12 education.

. . . and Out-of-School Time Professionals!

2022 School’s Out Make it Count Conference
October 22

In late October, The Walking Classroom will exhibit and present at the 2022 School’s Out Make it Count Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. This conference is an annual event of the Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence. Attendees include more than 750 individuals working in out-of-school time programs across Arizona.

2022 Bridge Conference
October 24 – 25

Then, The Walking Classroom will exhibit at the 2022 Bridge Conference, the annual gathering for School’s Out Washington. This event brings together over 500 school-age care providers, youth development professionals, leaders, community organizers, funders, and policymakers from across the United States.
