Inherited TWC Materials Change Classroom!

I have been teaching for over fifteen years, although this is my first year teaching a third and fourth grade combination class. One of the third grade teachers last year was lucky enough to get a set of Walking Classroom materials donated, and when she moved away, I inherited her materials!

My students and I have really enjoyed the podcast lessons and the opportunity to get up and move. We try to use the WalkKits twice a week. The students always cheer when I announce that it is time for The Walking Classroom! They love that we get some extra outside time. Even on rainy days, we walk through the hallways and outside under the covered walkways. I love their excitement and that they are growing their minds and healthy bodies.

Thanks you so much for this wonderful opportunity. The world of education is forever changing and thanks to my inherited Walking Classroom materials, my classroom can continue to change with it!
