TWC is Golden in the Golden Valley!

I teach fourth grade students in California’s Golden Valley, and I began using The Walking Classroom this past school year. Although I am only in my first year using the program, I can already see the impact it has made on the students in my class!

The Walking Classroom correlates well with my curricular content, so I choose those Walking Classroom podcasts that align most closely with my class material. My students love the program, and they benefit from that connection! For instance, when we studied Greek mythology, they enjoyed the podcast on Greek constellations (4-#68). It linked perfectly!

I find it especially helpful when students can connect the podcast with what we are covering in class. When they do, listening, walking, and discussing is much more meaningful!
