If you would like to buy a classroom set of Walking Classroom materials but your school does not have the funds available to do so, consider asking your school's PTA, classroom parents, and/or neighborhood businesses for donations toward the purchase of a set.

Apply for a Donated Set of Classroom Materials
Important information about applying for a donated set of materials.
If you are a classroom teacher in a public school, The Walking Classroom Institute may be able to provide you with a classroom set of donated materials at no cost to you. A donated set of materials will contain the benefactor's name and logo.
To apply for a donated set of materials, teachers must fill out a brief application and agree to the following terms:
- Brief media event with benefactor at the school and/or press release announcing the gift (if requested by the donor)
- Submission of photos of their students using The Walking Classroom (appropriate photo releases are the responsibility of the teacher)
- Regular posting on The Walking Classroom teacher forum for the entire school year
- Handwritten thank you notes from students to benefactor
- Announcement of donation and link to The Walking Classroom on school and teacher website and social media outlets
- Distribution of supplementary take-home materials (if provided by donor)
NOTE: The Walking Classroom Institute works tirelessly to secure corporate donations so that teachers who want to implement The Walking Classroom program are able to do so, even if their schools cannot afford the program and they are unable to find other funding sources. Our ability to provide donated materials requests is wholly dependent on the donations themselves, so requests will not be filled until donations are available—an unknown timeframe.
